  • Responsible for allocating orders and releasing work to warehouse floor.
  • Balancing workflow and proactively identifying and resolving barriers to efficient and effective workflow.
  • Ensuring inbound and outbound truck turn times are within acceptable levels.
  • Communicating order status to other stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders to meet shift-level service goals.
  • Release work to the inbound and outbound work queue to ensure high levels of interleaving, productivity, and carrier turn time.
  • Plan and allocate work queue for inbound unloading, staging and put away; outbound picking, staging and loading manifest, and internal replenishment activities.
  • Understand order product shortages once orders are dropped to the WMS from planning.
  • Manage order cuts in accordance with cut policy and communicate to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Team Lead and Shipping/receiving clerks to prioritize Material Handler tasks.
  • Ensure shipping/receiving office is utilizing inbound and outbound dock optimization functionality.
  • Generate and utilize system reports and audit sheets to evaluate the shift progress.
  • Run LMS reports, review with Supervisors and Managers, identify opportunity areas, and agree on refinement actions.
  • Work closely with operations to identify and eliminate overages, shorts and damages.
  • Communicate with appropriate team members to overcome system-related barriers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure complete communication for turn of shift.
  • Recommend work zone assignment improvements to Inventory Management.
  • Be aware of product code velocity zone assignments and help assure product code management.
  • Recommend optimal static and dynamic pick locations to Inventory Management.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and safety programs.
  • Continually evaluate effectiveness of systems and recommend changes where appropriate.
  • Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shift.
  • May perform other duties as required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience or previous logistics, coordinator or supply chain experience required.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree.
  • 2+ years of previous supply chain coordinator experience.
  • Vendor management experience.
