Our product goes into Aerospace, automotive, industrial (oil & gas, pipes, tanks), infrastructure, marine, sporting goods, and wind. We are looking for a 3rd Shift Technician. Duties · Confer with management to resolve technical problems. Confer with supervisors to coordinate set-up and repairs of equipment. Work closely with Production Managers/Supervisors and other departments to ensure efficient and effective goals are met. Work closely with management and maintenance to determine timing for PM work. · Responsible for all aspects of troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of machines, such as Hydraulic die machines and pneumatic assembly machines. Install, overhaul, repair, wire and maintain a variety of electrical and electronic equipment and controls related to production equipment, including motors, relays, circuit breakers, machine and process controls and circuits, alarms and communication systems and motor brushes and bearings. Diagnose problems and replace or repair worn defective parts and reassemble machines and make necessary adjustment s to ensure efficient operation. · Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. · Observe work, and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. · Enforce and maintain safety devices on machines. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computer based machine application.
