This position cleans equipment and physical areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson's policies and procedures. Responsibilities include removing all product and materials from assigned areas, performing thorough pre-rinses of work areas from top to bottom, applying various chemicals and soaps to all areas of assigned equipment and machinery, completing thorough final rinses, and checking areas for needed corrections. The role also involves cleaning production processing areas according to established company and USDA standards using chemicals, climbing ladders to scrub high places, bending or squatting to scrub low places, holding and operating high-pressure water hoses, and replacing sanitation materials in proper places when finished. Other duties may be assigned by management, and training to use Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures is required.
