Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Passing score on the Physical Capacity Screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes production or other plant equipment as assigned.
• Disassembles and re-assembles machinery.
• Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs. and climbs ladders without restriction.
• Cleans overhead areas while using a boom and scissor lift.
• Performs confined space entry/work in outside storage silos.
• Supports all plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serves in the role of 5S Leader and actively participates in all audits.
• Displays a positive attitude necessary to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager.
• Performs basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Cleans, inspects, and lubricates as assigned by supervisor.
