The 2nd Shift Crew Leader will operate equipment and provide leadership to crew to produce the finest quality product at rates and standards consistent with the Company's desire to be a Preferred Supplier of cost effective top quality products.
Operate equipment to meet performance standards and customer satisfaction.
Lead glass walls and be accountable to tracking performance.
Coach crew members to meet expectations of safety, quality, and productivity.
Participate or lead continuous improvement to enhance the business.
Ensure efficient staffing for machine, inform supervisor when problems arise.
Set up computer for daily workload.
Walk down length of machine to ensure it is ready to run. Communicate well with crew members.
Monitor glue levels; maintain a clean and efficient glue system.
Ensure housekeeping for entire machine area.
Manage quality testing and inspections to minimize waste and prevent shipping unacceptable product.
Document data collection.
Be in constant communication with supervisors and crew members.
Maintain productions reports.
Run sample orders and trials.
Utilize email, sharepoint, and other computer functions for adequate communication, SOP instruction, and documentation.
Oversee training of new employees, ensure training checklists are completed, and participate in reviews.
All other duties as required by Production Supervisors or Management
