About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring that proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson's policies and procedures. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months of machine or packing operator experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Notify supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Combine various meat and raw ingredients.
• Perform basic lubrication, inspection, adjustments, repairs, and cleaning.
• Contribute to a continuous improvement environment.
• Operate a forklift and resolve jams and equipment malfunctions.
• Open and close work orders in the MES system.
• Monitor robotic pocket fill and supply the line with film.
• Identify and act upon system-based error messages.
• Weigh drafts of meat using bench-top scales.
