About The Position

The Packager is responsible for packaging finished products according to
customer specifications and optimizing the productivity of the machine
processing line. This role involves selecting and maintaining packaging
materials, operating packaging equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation
and safety standards.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Equipment Operation: Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Reading and Understanding Instructions: Ability to read and understand work orders and written instructions
• Measurement: Utilize measuring devices such as rulers, tapes, and calipers
• Computer Skills: Use computer systems to print tags and manage documentatio
• Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
• Reliability: Demonstrated reliable work history
• Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all inspection tasks

Responsibilities

• Packaging: Package finished products for storage and shipment, adhering to customer specifications
• Material Management: Select and maintain an adequate supply of packaging materials for processing and warehouse activities
• Tool Maintenance: Keep a working set of tools required for packaging tasks
• Specification Adherence: Read and follow both standard and special packaging specifications
• Equipment Operation: Safely and properly operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic packaging equipment
• Documentation: Complete and inspect paperwork, tagging, and final packaging of finished products
• Product Transfer: Move finished products to storage or shipping areas as needed
• Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the work area according to company policies
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with processing crew members and company management
