About The Position

The 3rd Shift Operator is responsible for operating machinery and performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety policies while ensuring production goals are met. The operator will prepare finished products for shipment and conduct quality checks as necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Display great attention to detail
• Ability to follow oral and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand provided work instructions
• Basic math skills

Responsibilities

• Operate machines per provided work instructions
• Perform repetitive operations according to provided work instructions
• Use fixtures, jigs, and hand tools as necessary to ensure proper position and/or movement of components and parts
• Be alert to detect obvious defects and take necessary measures to correct them
• Proactively work with team members to meet production goals
• Prepare finished products for shipment by constructing boxes, placing labels on boxes, placing products in boxes, and placing closed boxes on pallets per work instructions
• Abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees
• Perform in-process quality checks as required
• Other duties and projects as determined by business and production needs
