About The Position

The Mechanical Assembler position involves assembling fabricated metal enclosures and performing repairs and rework on assemblies. The role requires efficiency and precision in output while operating various tools and following detailed instructions. The assembler will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of products.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Experience operating a forklift and overhead cranes is a plus.
• Must maintain a clean and safe working station in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Willingness to submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability to climb on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated metal enclosures.
• Repair and rework assemblies efficiently while ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
• Operate power and hand tools, measuring devices, and instruments used for assembly.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions or procedures.
• Complete troubleshooting steps for mechanical equipment according to inspection procedure guidelines.
• Support all areas of the production area as required.
