Perform assigned maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and repair and overhaul of all production and utility equipment, as well as assist in other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation and maintenance manuals and procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
Responsible for routine maintenance duties such as preventative maintenance, repair, lubrication, rebuilding, installation, and keeping machinery and equipment in efficient operating condition.
Inspect defective equipment and diagnose malfunctions.
Perform any other work as required by the maintenance supervisor.
1-5+ years of experience working as a mechanic/maintenance in an industrial setting
Working knowledge of the structural and functional characteristics of all production machinery and mechanical equipment.
Ability to perform general facilities maintenance such as plumbing, and HVAC.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints and drawings.
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must be able to work at height from ladders and mobile lift station such as scissor lifts and articulating boom lifts
Must be able to work flexible schedules and overtime is frequently required.
