About The Position

The position involves the effective and consistent running of the assigned production line, focusing on achieving production targets through interaction with processes. A good understanding of machinery is essential to ensure quality, safety, hygiene, and waste management. Attention to detail is crucial, and operators must work within the required parameters of their machines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines are clean and organized, operating under discipline.
• Operate according to standard operating procedures.
• Possess basic ice cream knowledge, understanding the 'WHY' behind processes.
• Limit water usage during cleaning, adhering to the 'clean as you go' principle.
• Correctly use, store, and set up all equipment.
• Ensure effective handover with Maintenance and the next shift, reporting all faults and issues.
• Drive the production process to meet customer specifications, quality, and food safety.
• Control the manufacturing process to meet targeted outputs.
• Communicate effectively with the entire team.
• Meet health and safety requirements and maintain a positive safety culture.
• Address issues as they arise, promoting a culture of ownership among employees.
• Coordinate local work team's daily efforts, including breaks and rotations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
