About The Position

The Local/On-Site Driver delivers parts and product throughout the Bertch sites by various means, such as straight truck, forklift, van, or semi. It is a requirement that the Local Driver has a Class A CDL. The Local Driver works 7:45pm -6:15am Monday -Thursday night.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• CDL license is needed.
• Associates will be subject to DOT require random drug and alcohol testing.
• Successful completion of annual physicals, as required by DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety and quality.
• Delivers parts to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to answer or direct associate’s questions.
• Loads trucks as needed.
• Able to lift, push, and handle freight.
• Works overtime on short notice and weekends when needed.
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
