About The Position

Hours: Monday thru Thursday 7:30pm-6:00am. Pay is based on experience starting between $24/hr-$26/hr based upon experience. Learn or is capable to set up machines and measure parts. Control work order flows and organization by priority and machine management. Control the pick lists and priorities by utilizing proper communication streams. Ensure material is available and ready for upcoming jobs and material is correct based on the work order. Ensure programs are pre-loaded on machines including the revision and completed correctly to the print. Make sure that fixturing has the appropriate clamps and stops installed. Verify that machine daily check lists are being completed. Work with area 5S and sustain it. Tool boards, check sheets, and cleanliness. Keep the set-up bin organized with parts and adjust as needed. Audit computers that are working and being used during the day. Assist Document Control in continuing to develop work instructions. Responsible for training new employees from operators to set-up operators. New team member training and tours. Documenting abilities. Focus on continuous improvements from safety to efficiencies, lessening scrap and changeover time etc. Safety talks and discuss with the CNC 1st shift group. Train the group to set up machines, change programs, fill out changeover check sheets, and wip parts.

Requirements

3 years of experience as a CNC Operator
3 years of experience within manufacturing
3 years of experience of measuring parts
3 years of experience with setting up machines
