About The Position

The Warehouse Associate position is a full-time role focused on efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products within a warehouse environment. Associates work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, ensuring that products are properly handled and prepared for shipment to stores. The role includes a comprehensive training program to equip employees with the necessary skills for success.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold environments.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

Responsibilities

• Selects and receives incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocates merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sorts, organizes, and loads merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Unloads incoming shipments from trucks and back-hauls.
• Performs general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participates in warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provides input to management regarding process improvements.
• Inspects product quality and reports safety concerns to management.
• Acts independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Assists management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Performs all tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Follows ergonomic program procedures.
• Operates equipment safely in performance of job functions.
• Notifies management of product quality and safety issues.
