About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated FSQA Technician to join our team. This role involves performing detailed physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems to ensure quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will document findings with precision, address issues promptly, and communicate results to management. A strong commitment to personal and food safety is essential for this position.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the food industry or related quality assurance (QA) field is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork.
• Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to lead by example and motivate hourly workers.
• Effective problem identification and problem-solving capabilities.
• Solid math and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications accurately.
• Resilience under stress and adaptability to dynamic work environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• Document inspection results accurately and calculate necessary data.
• Take immediate corrective action by alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, and identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products.
• Report inspection results to management in a timely manner.
• Complete any additional assignments as requested.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, including personal and food safety practices.
