About The Position
Jennie-O Turkey Store - 3rd Shift FSQ Pre-Op Technician - Barron, WI Job Responsibilities 1. Perform routine checks that include, but not limited to, monitoring of production lines, sanitation standards, HACCP checks, label auditing, weight checks 2. Completion and review of documentation 3. Assure proper execution of the Jennie-O Turkey Store HACCP, SQF, NTIS programs as well as company policies and procedures 4. Provide technical support and training to the plant in areas of USDA regulation compliance, process control program analysis investigation, product performance reporting, GMP's and food safety principles 5. Able to perform multiple positions 6. Assists department Flex Person weekly with Master Cleaning Calendar 7. Able to gain knowledge in all areas of the department Minimum Qualifications Must be able to complete basic audits including HACCP monitoring and verifications, SSOP preoperative & operative sanitation monitoring, weight control checks, online quality audits Must be able to work independently and with others with minimal supervision Must be willing to work towards becoming knowledgeable to product specifications, GMP policies, SSOP procedures and HACCP programs Must be able to maintain accurate & legible documentation of all assigned responsibilities Must be able to speak, read and write English and be able to communicate with management Must possess basic math skills No performance work actions in the last 6 months No attendance work actions in the last 6 months PHYSICAL: No restrictions to work for extended periods of time in a cool or warm environment No restrictions lifting to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Past quality or food related experience Response Process To be considered for this position you must have completed six (6) months in your present position.
