About The Position

The 3rd Shift Extrusion Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of XP and UPP extrusion lines, which involve multi-layer, multi-extruders nylon pipe, along with other extrusion duties as required and time permits, such as pipe reeling and reel building. Previous experience in pipe extrusion is preferred, while mechanical aptitude is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Demonstrated/previous mechanical aptitude (required).
• Previous experience in extrusion (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per Franklin Fueling Systems.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Meet daily production schedule as assigned.
• Assemble and operate extrusion line and set-up.
• Involved in pipe line production, reel to reel, and reel building.
• Provide on the job training to new employees.
• Ensure all products are produced to the highest quality.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
