About The Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- EXTRUSION OPERATOR Duties and assignments as required by Operations Leadership Safe and efficient operation of equipment to meet the needs (Quality, Cost, and Delivery) of our customers. Function at production levels in at least 3 of the following positions: Die Operator, Crane Operator, Furnace Operator, Billet Prep, GFM Furnace tender Set-up and change-over of Extrusion Press and related production equipment. Operation of support equipment: coiler, saws, etc. Perform maintenance on extrusion press and related equipment as assigned. Perform daily inspections of equipment (TPR) and maintain housekeeping expectations (5S). Perform Administrative Task (i.e. SAP, production logs, other as assigned). Operation of industrial equipment (forklift, cranes, hand carts, hand tools, etc.) Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve our competitive advantage (Quality, Cost, and Delivery). Requirements

Required to maintain licenses on overhead cranes and forklift.

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
2-3 years manufacturing experience a plus
