The CNC Machinist will set up and operate basic CNC functions following detailed instructions and established procedures on CNC equipment to produce metal parts and components per design and drawing specifications required for subassemblies or finished products. This position requires performing repetitive tasks, conducting basic equipment checks, and adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Entry-level role: no experience required.
• Familiarity with machining techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to use machining equipment, hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment effectively.
• Ability to produce parts and products to meet quality standards.
• Identifying issues and communicating to leader.
• Following safety protocols and maintaining hazard awareness.
• Collaborating effectively with all employees.
• Ability to be flexible in role, adjusting to new processes, technologies, or production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate basic CNC functions following detailed instructions and established procedures.
• Perform repetitive tasks such as loading/unloading parts on machines and operating hand tools.
• Conduct basic equipment checks to ensure tools and machines are operational.
• Perform routine quality inspections using basic measurement tools.
• Identify and segregate defective parts for supervisor review.
• Maintain accurate records of production counts and defect reports.
• Adhere to safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Work closely with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production goals.

Benefits

• Base Hourly Range: $17.50-$31.30.
