We have multiple openings for a 3rd Shift Assembly Production Manager at our Sanford facility. In this role, you will lead a team in improving processes and systems and the manufacturing of the products produced in the facility. You will oversee and coordinate the activities of a complex production line, prepares schedules, resolves issues, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards. What you can look forward to doing in this role: Monitors and improves shop floor safety, aggressively eliminates unsafe processes Assures fixtures, tooling and processes are followed to meet production schedules Determines priorities and sequences jobs Schedules and prioritizes constrained resources, and adjusts staffing to meet flow and customer requirements Determines and executes disciplinary action when appropriate Procures and distributes production material to meet schedules Procures and distributes production material to meet schedules Ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule Implements, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification and others Evaluates, assess, identifies and leads the deployment of workforce training Section Value Stream Mapping

Requirements

  • Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.
  • Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
