About The Position
St. Mary Catholic School seeks an enthusiastic and highly talented 3rd grade teacher for the 26/27 school year. The successful candidate will teach in a self-contained classroom and be responsible for other duties as assigned by the principal.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- State teacher certification
- Be able to integrate the tenets of the Catholic faith into every lesson.
- Demonstrate effective planning skills by preparing lessons aligned to state standards.
- Be familiar with the Science of Reading research.
- Develop and use multiple forms of assessment and evaluation to ensure student growth.
- Establish a system of classroom management that promotes self-direction, self-regulation, and a positive self-image.
- Maintain an active and engaging learning environment.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, faculty, and administration
