About The Position

Intermediate School Elementary Teacher - 3rd Grade Teacher BASIC REQUIREMENTS Must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Elementary Education 1-6, or B-3, or any combination to include PreK and Kindergarten. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity, interest, and abilities of students. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established District curriculum goals, establish and communicate clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units and projects. Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media. Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, provide progress reports as required, and communicated with parents as deemed necessary. Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administration regulations. Develop a code of conduct for the classroom, which is consistent with established Discipline Code of the District and the assigned building.
