LMES has been the cornerstone of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, since 1878. We have a highly involved parent population, who with the community, support our endeavors on behalf of children. We are looking for teachers who are professional, reliable, collaborative, highly qualified, knowledgeable of Tennessee content state standards and willing to work with our involved and supportive families. What We’re Looking For: Positive, student-focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus

- Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
- Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
