About The Position

Sacred Heart Catholic School is seeking a full time 3rd grade teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. We are searching for a teacher that is committed to providing opportunities for students to grow in the Catholic faith along with challenging them to meet high academic standards. We are a Believe & Read school for K-3. We have reading coaches on staff that are willing to train new staff so they can become certified. SHCS is an accredited school, PreK-8th grade, with approximately 170 students.

Requirements

• Current MN teacher license
• Exhibit competence in instructional methods and knowledge of subject matter
• Practicing Catholic and passionate about his or her faith
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to work with others
• Good communication skills with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to create a positive learning environment
• Experience technology skills to enhance lessons
• Team player
