The 3rd Grade Teacher plays a vital role in cultivating a joyful, engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration, critical thinking, and artistic expression. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging instruction aligned with Colorado Academic Standards and Waldorf-inspired curriculum. Teaching includes core subjects such as language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies through hands-on, project-based, and developmentally appropriate approaches. Instruction is enriched through storytelling, movement, artistic activities, and experiential learning that bring academic content to life. Teachers at Mountain Sage differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students. This includes providing targeted support and enrichment, using a variety of instructional strategies such as group work, visual aids, manipulatives, and sensory-based learning to ensure all students are appropriately challenged and supported. The 3rd Grade Teacher maintains clear documentation of student progress and communicates regularly with families about academic growth and developmental milestones.
