A 3D Imaging Technologist will be responsible for performing 3D reconstructions and post-processing of medical images for clinical visualization and analysis. They will be responsible for creating and manipulating 3D digital models and animations using specialized software and techniques. Requirements

  • Associates degree required.
  • 1 -2 years experience required.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as ARRT (CT), ARRT (MR), or ARRT (CV).
  • Current licensure by the State of Ohio if ARRT (CT) or ARRT (CV) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively with patients and families using age-appropriate language and demonstrates an understanding of developmental milestones and cultural sensitivities.
  • Collaborates with patients’ families or guardians throughout the assessment, treatment, and ongoing care process, ensuring clear instructions and inclusive support.
  • Identifies physical or behavioral health limitations and responds with appropriate interventions, including recognizing signs of abuse or neglect.
  • Generates detailed 3D reconstructions from 2D imaging to support diagnosis, surgical planning, and treatment, while maintaining clinical competency and image quality.
  • Works closely with radiologists and medical staff to ensure imaging outputs meet clinical requirements and accurately reflect patient anatomy and pathology.
  • Maintains and operates advanced 3D imaging software and equipment, stays current with emerging technologies, and contributes to departmental improvements and performance initiatives.
