Summary 3D Designer Position Summary: The role of a 3D Designer focuses on creating and rendering visually captivating displays, environments and product images for retail spaces and ad placements to attract customers, engage their interest, and influence their buying decisions. This is achieved through creative collaboration on strategically designed displays, product placement, and graphics using 3D and 2D software. 3D Designers collaborate internally with Marketing, Project Management, Creative and Studio, to align display concepts and product and lifestyle images with marketing strategies, retailer requirements, and campaigns. Essential Responsibilities: Develop compelling 3D models, renderings, and visual assets. Apply visual design principles to create engaging displays. Integrate 3D elements into retail environments. Manage multiple deadlines with clear communication. Collaborate across Creative and account teams. Select materials, textures, and visual content for designs. Curate stock and custom imagery for campaigns. Required Skills: Proficiency in 3D modeling software, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop. Strong organization and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Arts, or related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience. Experience with printing processes; corrugated/POP familiarity preferred. Work Environment: Remote role; primarily computer-based. Minimal travel required. Integrating 3D elements seamlessly into physical store layouts for a more immersive experience. Time Management: Manage multiple priorities on a daily basis. Communicate clearly regarding workload and deliverables to meet client deadlines. Collaboration: Working with Creative and account partners to understand and provide solutions that bring 3D concepts and images to life. Utilize concepts and brand guides to ensure renders are on brand and accomplishing tasks as set in brief. Take direction and continuously optimize to see each job through from concept to completion. Knowledge of Materials and Textures: Selecting and sourcing materials that align with the display concept and brand image. Exploring innovative materials and textures to add tactile elements to displays and retail environments. Stock Photography and Visual Content Curation: Curating a library of high-quality visual content, including stock photography, illustrations, and graphics, for display use. Integrating curated visual content into displays to add depth and context to the design. Collaborating with creative to produce custom visual content for specific campaigns.
