Requirements

Education: Associate's degree in CAD required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant CAD design experience preferred.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor preferred, with consideration given to proficiency in SolidWorks, or Creo/ProE.
Strong AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must have the ability to communicate information in speaking and writing so others will understand.
Must be able to see details at close range.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to routinely move throughout the office area to assist customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

Develop 3D models and technical drawings from client specifications.
Use Autodesk Inventor &AutoCAD to create submittal drawings & coordination models.
Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings and accurate documentation.
Review and validate work for accuracy and compliance.
Communicate with clients to ensure designs meet their needs.
Provide product knowledge and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
