Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree in CAD required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant CAD design experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor preferred, with consideration given to proficiency in SolidWorks, or Creo/ProE.
  • Strong AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must have the ability to communicate information in speaking and writing so others will understand.
  • Must be able to see details at close range.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to routinely move throughout the office area to assist customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D models and technical drawings from client specifications.
  • Use Autodesk Inventor &AutoCAD to create submittal drawings & coordination models.
  • Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings and accurate documentation.
  • Review and validate work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure designs meet their needs.
  • Provide product knowledge and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
