About The Position

The successful candidate will assist the 350th Spectrum Warfare Group (SWG), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350th SWG is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350th SWG is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, Force Development Evaluation execution and facilitating Foreign Materiel Exploitation. The successful candidate will serve as a Security Specialist and security advisor, providing oversight and management of multiple security disciplines (physical, personnel, information, computer, industrial, operations, and communications security) in support of the 350th SWG's advanced and special access programs (SAPs).

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements.
  • An Associate Degree with 14 years of experience or a Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience.
  • Must have a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain access to SCI and SAPs.
  • Employee may be required to take a random counter-intelligence polygraph and submit to background checks as a condition of employment and/or continued access to SAPs.
  • The candidate may be subject to the possibility of random drug tests.
  • DOD Security Certification is mandatory in accordance with DODM3305.13-M.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAP physical security program and the knowledge required to implement DOD, USAF, DIA, and MAJCOM policies and directives for the construction, protection, and operation of all advanced programs facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the personnel security program and the knowledge to establish procedures for processing requests for security accesses for military, civilian, and contractor personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares accreditation packages to include fixed facility checklists, facility and alarm diagrams, inspectable space determinations, and other essential physical security documents for approval by ACC, DIA, and SAF/AAZ.
  • Supports the classification management program and supports SAP manager in developing classification guidance and making personnel security decisions.
  • Implements and administers this program and serves as a security professional for development, testing, fielding, and protection of advanced and SAP technologies.
  • Develops and administers security plans and procedures for personnel and facilities that support advanced programs or SAPs.
  • Reviews and coordinates on contractor visitor security group agreements and DD Forms 254 for technical accuracy, extent of security protection required, and sufficiency of classification guidance prior to approval.
