About The Position

The Senior Trainer position at Amentum involves providing performance-oriented training using TRADOC-approved Programs of Instruction (POI). The role encompasses a variety of training methods including classroom instruction, hands-on exercises, role-playing, simulation, and field training. The trainer will also act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in revising training materials and will support specialized training requirements.

Requirements

• 6 years of MOS operational experience as a 35F, 350F, 350B, 35D, or equivalent specialty.
• Honorable discharge from military service.
• Completion of a military leadership course (e.g., ALC, SLC, WOBC, WOAC, MIOBC, or MICCC).
• Bachelor's Degree or four years of additional relevant experience.
• Minimum of an Interim Secret or Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide performance-oriented training using TRADOC-approved POI.
• Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions.
• Participate in the development and revision of POIs, Lesson Plans, and Training Support Packages (TSPs).
• Support mobile training and specialized training requirements.
• Conduct training for both resident and non-resident courses.
