About The Position

Pillr Health’s 340B Mixed-Use Manager (MUM) role is a client-facing position that is responsible for managing Pillr Health’s services with healthcare clients. The 340B Mixed-Use Manager will work collaboratively with Pillr Health’s clients, and the clients’ Pillr Health’s internal teams to ensure the client’ success. This strategic position will provide subject matter expertise and serve as the primary resource for day-to-day client interactions/questions and facilitates all key communications related to program performance between the client and Pillr Health. Success will be measured according to the client specific financial, operational and relationship outcomes against defined client/Pillr Health Business Plans. Success from a Pillr Health perspective will be defined by both positive client satisfaction ratings, program growth and overall client references.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Business Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance or will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 340B covered entity, In-Patient Pharmacy, 340B operations and mixed-use experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a client-facing account management role.
  • An intelligent and articulate individual who possesses excellent communication skills and can relate to people at all levels of an organization.
  • 2+ years’ experience in preparing and interpreting reports.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Must be well-organized and self-directed with the ability to work with minimal amount of supervision.
  • Strong experience in user testing and project management.
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for working with clients and proactive problem-solving.
  • Strong experience with MS Office Suite. Expert in Excel.
  • Proven ability to communicate verbally and in written form at a high level.
  • Excellent organizational, conflict resolution and time management skills with the ability to adapt to challenging priorities.
  • Self-motivated with strong ability to work independently and/or with teams.

Nice To Haves

  • 340B ACE certification.
  • In-Patient Pharmacy experience.
  • Familiarity with various EMR/EHR systems, such as EPIC, Meditech, Cerner, etc.
  • Experience with issue and bug management systems such as the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of hospital/in-patient pharmacy operations, workflows, prescribing practices and revenue cycle management within a health care organization.
  • Firm understanding of Medicare/Medicaid billing practices.
  • PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with clients during implementation phase to understand the clients’ 340B program needs, issues and other pertinent data required to develop clear success plans.
  • Maximize clients 340B program compliance, 340B program savings through client satisfaction, and program optimization.
  • Serve as the client advocate and a primary point of contact on managed and key client accounts.
  • Develop, update and execute client project plans incorporating short and long-term objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive sponsor, and other internal Pillr Health teams to promptly identify any service issues and take lead resolving and preventing complex service issues.
  • Provide client management leadership including proactively highlighting monthly visibility into key activities and drivers impacting service levels and driving program profitability. Memorialize all client-related interactions (i.e., meeting agenda, minutes, project plans, etc.)
  • Maintain regular communication with client contacts and conduct stewardship meetings to review overall program results and opportunities.
  • Manage client expectations, service commitments and anticipate needs.
  • Build and grow client relationships to solidify consultative service partnership.
  • Understand client specific data and emerging trends and articulate to clients how our services might further drive savings in additional areas.
  • Participate in presentations/trainings to prospects, internal and external clients.
  • Review received client data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical expertise to resolve client needs and issues.
  • Understand the client’s contractual terms with pharmacies and ensure implementation is completed per the contractual terms.
  • Work with external vendors (i.e. wholesalers, TPA’s, etc.) as required to ensure client success.
  • Ensure a positive client experience with Pillr Health’s 340B software solutions for both the client and the client’s 340B contract pharmacies.
  • Follow Pillr Health’s implementation standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist in the refinement of SOPs as needed.
  • Enter and prioritize operational IT tickets required for product support and developmental needs to support the client experience as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with all levels of client interaction to ensure proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution.
  • Support and promote Pillr Health values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in other implementations or intra-departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Support, educate, and guide support teams as needed to help convey expertise that is key to ongoing client success.
