340B Certified Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
The Pharmacy System 340B Technician is proficient with wholesaler ordering systems, understands inventory management and contract compliance. This position is responsible for assisting the 340B Coordinator and the Purchasing staff maintain the accumulators, crosswalk builds, and perform recurring data related duties to support the 340B program. The 340B technician will be familiar with compliance rules, policies and procedures. This staff member shall assist the 340B coordinator and the Business Manager with training and education of the pharmacy personnel in general.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years related experience
- Working knowledge of generic / brand medication names
- Excellent math, organization, prioritization skills.
- High level of courtesy and communication skills.
- Requires proficient use of Microsoft Office, recall, and wholesaler software programs
- Must be certified as a Pharmacy Technician through a nationally accredited Pharmacy organization.
- Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or application in process upon hire and obtained within 90 days of hire
