About The Position

ARSIEM Corporation is looking for an Operational Systems Integrator to support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD. This position involves managing enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions. The role requires observing and interpreting visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components, translating user requests into technical diagnoses, and developing strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact. Additionally, the position involves evaluating new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 10-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12-years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
  • Able to obtain an IAT-I certification, such as: A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCP.
  • Systems administration including installing, configuring, and maintaining bare metal servers and virtual machines to meet all customer security requirements.
  • Responsible for secure infrastructure and vulnerability corrections, data security, compliance, and backups and recovery.
  • Maintain SSPs, STE/STN requirements via RMF, Netseer, SEAR logging, patching, IAVMs, McAfee, and UAM.
  • Strong Windows experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Linux Systems Administration
  • Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
  • Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
  • Experience with SELinux and FIPS.
