About The Position

The 3M Global Leader, Resource Prioritization Manager (RPM) position offers an opportunity to transition from various environments into a career at 3M. This role involves significant collaboration with innovative teams globally, focusing on the RPM tool's product ownership, process stewardship, and expansion leadership. The manager will lead the definition of the RPM scope, ensure effective utilization of the tool, and spearhead its expansion to enhance project coverage. Additionally, the role includes team management, dashboard management, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement advocacy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Five (5) years of project management, business management or related fields experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition of the RPM scope and detailed requirements.
  • Ensure tool upgrades are maximized within available budget.
  • Ensure the RPM is utilized effectively by portfolios and functions.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify gaps using scorecards and deliver targeted training.
  • Maintain the integrity of scorecards to ensure value-add performance measurements.
  • Spearhead the expansion of RPM from a portfolio-based system to include functional lists.
  • Collaborate with IT to secure necessary funding and drive implementation.
  • Integrate input from users and management teams to develop and update Power BI dashboards.
  • Engage closely with business and functional stakeholders to gather and translate their needs.
  • Regularly update and deliver RPM training to new and existing users.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and support the 3-week sprint planning process.
