The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA is a vital member of the healthcare team who provides direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. Under supervision, the Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA provides basic nursing care and assists patients/residents with daily living activities. The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA demonstrates superior customer service skills and is a vital part of the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant course.
• Valid Washington D.C. CNA certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• 6 months experience as a CNA in Sub-Acute or Acute setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses.
• Assist patients/residents with daily living activities.
• Demonstrate superior customer service skills.
• Work cohesively with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.
