About The Position

We have immediate hire openings for 3D Modeler/CAD Drafter (Navy/DoD) (Mid-Level) to support Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Navigation & Electrical (C4N&E) activities at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD in, Panama City, FL who wants to grow with the Company. Requirements

• At least three (3) years of recent, relevant professional experience with 3D modeling and drafting, including: hardware design, development, model-based definition (MBD), prototyping, and integration of electromechanical prototype or military systems.
• Experience obtained in a US Navy, Coast Guard, or DOD environment is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with SOLIDWORKS or other similar 3D modeling tools.
• Performing Configuration Management with SOLIDWORKS PDM administration.
• Using SOLIDWORKS Composer.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14 standards.
• Proficient with common productivity software such as the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Professional drafting/design certification such as ASME GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Work in 3D modeling and 2D computer-aided drafting (CAD) in a professional environment using SOLIDWORKS or other 3D modeling software.
• Use 3D modeling techniques and best practices to assist with interactive video development.
• Develop detailed technical documentation including 2D Technical Drawings.
• Develop interactive 3D Animation/Video for training.
• Collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates.
