About The Position
TekPro is partnering with a top aerospace contract machining firm in Chicagoland with a 50‑year track record of producing high‑tolerance components for military and commercial aircraft. We’re seeking a first‑shift CNC expert to drive precision, throughput, and quality.
Requirements
- Proficiency in GD&T
- CNC Programming capabilities
- Strong G‑code knowledge
- Hands-on experience with machine setups for production runs
Responsibilities
- Own 3–4 axis CNC mill setups; 5‑axis familiarity is a plus
- Create and refine G‑code to meet aerospace tolerances
- Interpret GD&T, perform first‑article verification, and transition to production
- Execute efficient machine setups for repeatable production runs
