Holman has an outstanding opportunity for a Second Shift Welder to join our team in Huntington . Pay: $22 - $25 (depending on experience) + 10% shift premium Shift: 2:00 PM to 12:30am Monday- Thursday Benefits start within 30 days of employment 15 days of personal time in your first year 10 paid holidays per year We provide training for approximately the first 6 weeks on the job. Training shift is Monday – Friday from 5:30am to 2:00pm. Upon successful completion of training, you will be assigned to our 2nd shift.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
competency in Steel/Galvanneal and Alum MIG processes, TIG welding is a plus
Hands-on experience with cutting, drilling, and other fabrication techniques
Ability to work from blueprints and written specifications to fabricate components
Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices in welding and fabrication environments
Must be competent producing good welds while welding in flat and horizontal positions, uphill, downhill, and overhead welds
Experience using cutting torch and plasma cutter preferred.
Ability to wear a respirator
Required to pass a G1 weld test
Must be able to perform within the established company standards, which include but are not limited to standard operating procedures, attendance, quality and performance.
Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Fabricate components to complete a project, will include cutting, welding, drilling and other techniques
Ability to work from blueprints and written specifications to meet customer requirements via MIG and TIG welding.
Use various processes including cutting, welding (MIG), drilling, and possibly others to fabricate components as required to complete projects
Conduct quality control checks on own work to ensure components meet required specifications and standards; perform inspections of welded joints and fabricated components to identify and rectify any defects.
