About The Position

Wausau Window and Wall Systems is seeking employees to join our 2nd shift Warehouse team at Tubelite in Reed City. Pay begins at $17.35 an hour, plus a $2.00 an hour for working an off shift. Our Distribution Team members are cross-trained in a variety of roles that include: Order Picker, Truck Loader, Slot Punch Operator, and Material Handler. The Distribution team works together to pile down, pick, punch, pack, and ship materials to clients and finishers, ensuring that all orders are picked and packed correctly and sent out per schedule. Team members are required to wear PPE including safety glasses, steel toe shoes, gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, and hard hats where required. The team works safely to prevent bodily harm and to keep the distribution area clean.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Must be able to bend easily at the waist.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Must be able to read work instructions.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to use small hand tools, including hammers and screwdrivers.
• Must be able to read micrometers and calipers.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated 5S and Lean practice.

Responsibilities
