About The Position

The Skilled Material Handler (SMH) at Biery Cheese Company is responsible for operating various equipment and performing essential tasks to ensure efficient production processes. This role requires proficiency in operating machinery, tracking orders, and maintaining quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. The SMH will also assist in sanitation duties and support the overall production team in achieving operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all equipment/machines on the production line efficiently.
• Track quantities per order and input lot numbers accurately.
• Perform routine quality checks and ensure product specifications are met.
• Assist in supporting a safe work environment through adherence to safety processes.
• Participate in the SQF program and assist in operational standards development.
• Record tracking information from bulk cheese containers to table placards.
• Fill in for other personnel as needed based on production requirements.
