About The Position
The 2nd Shift Shipping Clerk position at Handi-Foil Corp in Naperville, IL, is a full-time role focused on the shipping and receiving operations within the company. Handi-Foil is a well-established leader in the manufacture, sale, marketing, and distribution of disposable aluminum bakeware, with over forty years of experience in the industry. The company is currently experiencing strong growth, which has led to the need for additional staff in their shipping department. In this role, the Shipping Clerk will be responsible for generating bills for orders scheduled to ship out and processing these orders using the ERP system, specifically Oracle. The clerk will assist truck drivers by locating their orders in the system and assigning appropriate dock doors for loading. Communication is key in this position, as the clerk will need to call drivers to inform them when their freight is loaded and ready for pickup. Additionally, the Shipping Clerk will be tasked with releasing and printing orders for the next day, which includes preparing copies and labels, as well as responding to emails related to shipping operations.
