About The Position

W&W Dairy Inc. located in Monroe, WI is hiring a production worker. W&W Dairy is a demanding, fast paced cheese processing facility. The person hired for this position will be trained to perform all of the different jobs in our Production Department. Job assignments will include operating a variety cheese packaging and processing equipment. Second shift is 2pm - Midnight. $1,000 bonus paid out in December!

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience working in a food manufacturing plant preferred.
  • Forklift operating experience is preferred.
  • Candidates must possess solid mechanical skills and the ability to understand, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Must be able and willing to work all shifts and overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able and willing to work in a wet environment with moderate to high noise volume.
  • Must be able and willing to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Operating machinery and equipment including but not limited to filling and packaging machines, augers grinding equipment etc.
  • Reading, understanding, and following standard operating procedures.
  • Operating a forklift as required of a job assignment.
  • Maintaining communication with supervisors, management, and other employees and notifying them of any problems and/or concerns that may affect production.
  • Ensuring that all required paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate manner and completed with all required information.
  • Ensuring that all work is completed and documented in accordance with SOP's.
  • Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset and assisting in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Following Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Following all required safe work practices, including but not limited to lockout-tagout, confined space safety, chemical handling, and electrical safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.
