About The Position

The position is for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor located in the Northeast Suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. The supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating plant floor activities throughout the shift, supervising assigned employees, and ensuring that all produced products meet company standards. The role requires mentoring and coaching employees, handling changing business environments, and maintaining communication and confidentiality across departments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma; a 2-year degree would be a plus.
• 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate plant floor activities throughout the shift.
• Supervise assigned employees and properly train all new hire employees.
• Ensure that all products produced meet company standards and address any issues that arise during production.
• Mentor and coach employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in groups.
• Handle ever-changing business environments and departmental needs.
• Maintain interdepartmental, general business, and customer communication and confidentiality.

Benefits

• Pay is up to $75,000 a year.
• Working hours from 6 PM to finish (8 to 12 hours).
