About The Position

The Production Foreman manufactures products by supervising staff, organizing and monitoring workflow as well as maintains safe operations and product quality. Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, coaching, counseling and discipline employees, initiating, coordinating and enforcing system, policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
  • Three to Four years related experience in manufacturing production environment in a leadership role

  • Knowledge of e-mail, spreadsheet software, word processing, presentation software and tracking databases

Responsibilities

  • Carryout to the full extent required, production activities for the processing of any and all NARSTCO products
  • Monitor team member's participation to ensure the training they are provided is being put to effective use and identify additional training that may be needed
  • Define and carry out priorities for work to be done based on production schedule, daily output requirements/goals and needs communicated by sales and or management
  • Verify material is available and direct employees on which tasks or projects are to be completed per priority schedule communicated by Management
  • Communicate product and customer information and requirements to Production Operators including the effects of nonconformance
  • Develop production paperwork
  • Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables, observing points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, initiating and foster a spirit of cooperation with and between departments
  • Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries
  • To exercise the utmost degree of integrity, honesty, good faith and fidelity to the Company, in dealing with the Company and with its customers, employees, suppliers and other public
  • Provide other reasonable services as the Company may request from time to time
  • Leads the team of Production Operators
