About The Position

This role offers a range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations. We are seeking a 2nd shift Press Out Operator to work with us. We have a very competitive starting pay plus a shift differential. The person in this role will tend Press out equipment in a safe and efficient manner to package high-quality printing ink by performing any or all of these duties as directed.

Requirements

• Work with R&D and Production Managers and use quantitative and qualitative research skills to assess new product success outcome and make recommendations for process improvements
• Have a High school diploma or (GED) desired; or 1-3 months related experience
• Possess good math and basic computer skills
• Have attention to detail
• Be reliable to work assigned shift
• Be flexible to work overtime as required
• Work side-by-side with the scheduling team, Quality Coordinator, and Preventative Maintenance team
• Demonstrate exceptional attendance
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience within the Ink Industry
• Pump filter industry background
• Two or more years of related manufacturing experience
• A strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
• Forklift experience

Responsibilities

• Following batch instructions for weighing batches accurately
• Understanding proper procedures
• Monitoring temperature and adjust as needed
• Following procedures for Pressing out inks, and adjusting pump speeds
• Making QC adjustments as instructed
• Following procedures for labeling and packaging finished inks product
• Operating a forklift
