Our Waynesboro PA campus is seeking a motivated individual to join our paint department. We are looking for candidates with two to three years of manufacturing experience with both paint and assembly experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • two to three years of manufacturing experience with both paint and assembly experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of painting of parts or assemblies such as, but not limited to, packages, assemblies, parts or any other items that require their surfaces to be coated.
  • Wash, clean and wire brush or scrape parts as necessary, prime and finish coat using ready mix or activator type paints. Included will be to assemble individual parts or items on packages as required.
  • Prime and finish coat using ready mix or activator type paints Inspect all packages or items that are painted and correct any deficiencies that are identified.
  • Apply specified decals and tags.
  • Shrink wrap packages or any other items for transport or storage.
  • Perform necessary material handling associated with the job.
  • Maintain necessary time, quality, quantity and other records.
  • Use chisel, hammer, air grinder, wire brush, and other appropriate tools to complete tasks.
  • Assemble caps, plugs and valves for finished charge.
  • Detect unusual conditions or defective material and report to proper supervision.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment according to 5S standards.
  • May be called upon to participate within special work teams performing various team related duties. Including Kaizen events, 5S programs and problem solving exercises.
