The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization, Air Dominance Division is seeking a Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer (Associate or Experienced) to join the Advanced Composites Fabrication Center team on 2nd Shift in Mesa, Arizona. Our team creates proprietary next generation products and services for the BDS business unit. We support the Fabrication and Assembly for the next generation Air Force Trainer, Bombers and Tactical Fighter Aircraft, Autonomous Air Vehicles, Rotorcraft, Advanced Airborne Sensors, Space Vehicles, Satellites, Weapons Systems, the Commercial Fleet of single and twin aisle airplanes and much more. Our group works all facets of Engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.

  • Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
  • Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
  • Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
  • Works under general direction.
  • 1+ years or more of experience with Numerical Control Programming utilizing Unigraphics NX, Vericut / Vericut Composites, and/or CAPPS NC.
  • Level 2 (Associate): 1+ years of work-related experience with an Associate's degree OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • Level 3 (Experienced): 3+ years of work-related experience with an Associate's OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • Relevant programming experience utilizing Unigraphics NX, Vericut / Vericut Composites, and/or CAPPS NC within a 5-axis machining environment.
  • Relevant experience with machine tooling, metrology, and Composite fabrication/producibility.
