Perform assigned maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and repair and overhaul of all production and utility equipment, as well as assist in other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Responsible for routine maintenance duties such as preventative maintenance, repair, lubrication, rebuilding, installation, and keeping machinery and equipment in efficient operating condition.
Inspect defective equipment and diagnose malfunctions.
Repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
Perform any other work as required by the maintenance supervisor.
Must be experienced in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation and maintenance manuals and procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
Knowledge of pneumatics.
Working knowledge of basic electricity - single and three-phase power and AC/DC circuits.
Capable of tracing electrical malfunctions on production equipment.
Working knowledge of the structural and functional characteristics of all production machinery and mechanical equipment.
