About The Position

AriensCo is currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Maintenance Technician to install and maintain machinery and equipment in industrial establishment. 2nd shift, Mon.-Thur. 4 x 10 schedule 1:30P-12A with some scheduled Friday's.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Minimum two years industry experience and/or training
• Strong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills needed
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Able to frequently walk, sit and use hands to handle or feel
• Able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of machines and tools
• Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Dismantles machines
• Moves machinery and equipment
• Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails
• Aligns machines and equipment
• Assembles machines, and bolts, welds and rivets or otherwise fastens them to structures
• Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment
• Complete preventative and total productive maintenance
