About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe repair and maintenance of industrial machinery and building systems. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining tools and equipment, and collaborating with management on various repairs. The position offers an opportunity for individuals eager to learn and grow in an industrial setting, with initial training on the first shift before transitioning to the second shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school preferred.
• 2 years of experience working with mechanical systems, electrical systems, tools, or machines required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in industrial maintenance, both electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete industrial machinery and building maintenance repairs including injection mold machinery, extrusion machines, electrical equipment, lighting, HVAC systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain small tools to large industrial equipment.
• Partner with Maintenance Tech II for preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters and minor electrical repairs.
• Assist in building new fixtures and office equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Support the facilities team to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
